Here goes my second attempt of writing a pattern. I made this sweater for my terrier mix Mason. He is 25 lbs and very barrel chested. He wears a medium. The collar and the little bow tie make it a little fancy. This is going to be his spring/Easter sweater. Adorable!

Okay here is my first attempt at a pattern. It seems easy and straight forward to me but that's because I made, so if anyone has any questions please ask. Feedback makes you better.

Curtains and Dog Sweaters

Yay I have some pictures of my curtains that I made a few days ago. They were super easy and I love them.

Yesterday I made Mason a little doggy sweater. It was impossible to get him to keep still for a picture so below is what we got. I found the pattern on Ravelry.com I had to adjust a little, instead of chaining 14 I joined right away. I think I'm going to take a stab at my own pattern one of these days.

I did these in one morning before work.

I love my Mason! He is so adorable and warm now!!!
He is really dirty in these pics because he had gotten out of the yard and got to sniff around the neighborhood.

Getting Ready For Easter

Easter is coming!!! I'm getting ready by making some baskets. I'm making these little guys for the girls at work. I've got 32 to make so I figured I would get started early. They are adorable. I used some left over Bernat Softee Baby yarn. I have tons left over from baby blanket through out the years. One more step towards using up my left overs and adorable little gifts for some deserving ladies. I'm going to fill with paper grass and some little candies.

For all the newbies! So like I said I've been crocheting a while but I'm not expert by any means. I'm self taught. I learned mostly from books and getting a hold of some patterns and diving in. I started with lopsided pot holders and scarves that started skinny and got really fat. Once I got the Happy Hooker I was set. It made learning new stitches and how to read patterns a breeze. This book saved my crochet life.

If you are learning to crochet or know somebody who is learning this book is AMAZING!

Yay! So I'm not a sewer at all. I've had my machine for about 10 years and only taken it out a handful of times. Today I whipped up some curtains for the kitchen. They came out way better than I expected. Pictures are coming. The lighting was horrible, so I will try again tomorrow.

Next project. I'm going to start crocheting little Easter baskets for the girls at work. 30 of them may be some work but they are going to be small so I might be able to get through them pretty quick.

Happy Crocheting!!!
