Ch 4, sl st to join
Round1: ch 2 (count as first dhc each round) . Work 7 dhc
into ring. Sl st to join
Round 2: ch 2. 2 dhc in each dhc. Sl st to join
Round 3: ch 2 *2 dhc in next dhc, 1 dhc in next dhc* repeat around.
Sl st to join
Round 4: ch 2 *dhc in next 2, 2 dhc in next* repeat around. Sl
st to join
Round 5: ch 2 *dhc in next 3, 2 dhc in next* repeat around.
Sl st to join
Round 6-8: ch 2 *dhc in next* repeat around. Sl st to join
Round 9: ch 2 Work shell (5 dhc in dhc,), count 2 ch as
first dhc ,* skip 1 sl st in next skip 1, work shell in next* repeat around. Sl
st to join
Ch 25, sl st to join on opposite side of basket. Make sure
the all chains are facing the same direction.
Dhc in each ch. Sl st to join. Fasten off. Weave in ends
Those are so cute! Did you use knitting worsted for the yarn? They'll look so cute with Easter grass and balls of yarn to look like eggs. Why not cover plastic Easter eggs with yarn using hot glue? That would be the perfect Easter basket for a crocheter or knitter, wouldn't it?! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI used Bernat Softee Baby yarn. I have tons left over from baby blankets. And an F hook. I'm going to but fake grass and little egg candies in them for the girls at work.
